Changing the Password

You should change your password at least twice a year. Password must be at least 7 characters in length and must contain a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number, and a special character.

When you sign in to the system for the first time as a new user, change the system-generated password into a new password known only to you.

Do not let anyone else see your password.

Use a password that others cannot guess. It's a good idea to change a letter or part of a word into upper case letters and add letters to the beginning or end of a word.

1. To change the password, click on the user menu in the upper right-hand corner. The menu is under the name of the user logged in. Select My Profile in the menu.

2. Enter a new password in the field and confirm it by entering it again in the Confirm Password field.

3. Save the new password.

Logging Out of Stage or Studio

You should log out of the system when you are no longer using the service. Log out especially when you have logged in on someone else's computer.

You can log out in any view.

1. Log out by clicking on the user menu in the upper right-hand corner. The menu is under the name of the user logged in. Select Log out.

Two-step verification (2FA)

Crasman Stage and Studio login can be verified using any application that supports the TOTP algorithm (e.g. Google Authenticator).

Two-step authentication improves login security by requiring a constantly changing code at login that is only in your possession.

The example uses the Google Authenticator mobile app for 2-step verification, but you can use other similar applets.

Google Authenticator mobile app

Google Authenticator application is available for IOS and Android.

Using 2-step Login

If Google Authenticator authentication is linked to your user account, then Stage requires a running verification code from the Google Authenticator app in addition to your username and password.

Enabling 2-Step Login

In your profile, select "Enable 2-Step Verification" and follow the instructions on the page that opens.

Scan the on-screen QR code to link your account to Google Autenthicator (or similar app).

Disabling 2-Step Login

The function can be disabled from the user account under your own profile.
