
The global player in the concrete industry, Peikko, revamped its online service with the aim of showcasing a unified brand and customer promise.
Operating in 32 countries, Peikko wanted to create better opportunities for local country organisations to produce their own content and offer a local flavour to their customers. The centralised management of product information and documents aided in achieving this objective.
The online service supports sales and marketing
-Content-wise, the revamp of the online service focused on the customer perspective and the benefits received by customers, says Peikko's Marketing Director, Molli Nyman.
-Peikko's mission is to make the construction process simpler, faster, and safer. The second aim of the online service revamp was essentially the same – an easily manageable, fast, and technically smart implementation.
The goal was to create the best online service in the industry, which efficiently supports Peikko’s sales and marketing.

A centralised solution helps local operators
-The entire content was built to serve our customers. As part of the whole, a reference site was also brought in, which had been created as its own project with Crasman earlier. It was indeed a massive undertaking, but 600 impressive references have already proven to be an excellent sales tool, states Molli Nyman.
-The brand and customer promise of the online service must be globally consistent. Thus, in the implementation, it was ensured that technical information and documents are managed and brought into the online service centrally. At the same time, it was desired to provide country offices with better opportunities than before to propose and produce their own content. This would ensure that the online service also offers customers important local flavour.
Peikko.com communicates consistently
The result was a revamped Peikko.com, which offers the right content to the right user groups at the right time around the world. The site’s brand and message is consistent, and local content is also available to customers. The heavy management of content and language versions was eased with a smart technical implementation.
The versatile customisability of Crasman's Stage and Studio publishing platform allowed for a clearly more efficient and easier way of producing content.
