The responsibility strategy guides Crasman's sustainability efforts

The balance between work and leisure, equal treatment for all, and sustainable digital services – these are the foundations of Crasman's first sustainability strategy. To ensure our commitment to sustainability is more than just rhetoric and admirable ideas, we've decided to join the UN Global Compact network.

Crasman is part of the UN Global Compact network

The sustainability of our operations has always been important to us, but with joining the Global Compact corporate responsibility network, we plan to commit more strongly to long-term and systematic sustainability work. We have taken action by creating Crasman's first sustainability strategy.

Our sustainability strategy is firmly based on the values and principles we have believed in throughout our existence. The strategy focuses on two main areas: a more humane working life and more sustainable digital services. We have been working on these themes for many years, but in the future, our actions will be guided by concrete measures and indicators. We report the progress of our sustainability work to the Global Compact network annually.

A more humane working life

A humane working life means, above all, setting realistic demands and respecting our employees' leisure time. Our goal is to create a work environment where people can thrive, feel good, and achieve a balance between work and other aspects of life. We want to ensure that we have the tools in place that enable every member of Crasman to not only be, but genuinely feel, equally important.

To mention one specific measure, during 2023, we implemented a salary transparency project aimed at increasing transparency and equality within Crasman. As a result of the project, we introduced a salary scale model at the end of the year, allowing our people to see the salary range for each level and the goals and expectations associated with each level. We also publish salary ranges in our recruitment advertisements.

We will share more about our salary transparency project in another blog post soon.

More sustainable digital services

The second focus of our strategy is based on our effort to provide more sustainable digital services for everyone. We have divided this theme into two subcategories: accessibility and information security and privacy protection. We are committed to building safe, privacy-protecting digital services that are equally accessible to everyone. Our goal in these matters is not just to meet the minimum legal requirements, but to be one step ahead.
