Challenge

Digital distribution channel for enhancing sales, product management, and after-sales services

The primary aim of Frestems' online store is to better serve the company's existing international clients and to attract new customers. The company wanted to highlight the functionalities of its products more effectively through animated product videos, among other methods. The online store was designed to be "locked," meaning that only companies that have undergone the customer approval process could place orders. In addition to product orders, Frestems wanted the system to facilitate the statutory maintenance of products. Moreover, they wanted QR codes on products to conveniently provide additional information when needed. Frestems' products are complex and heavily regulated, thus it's essential for Frestems to always know the final end-user of the product and offer maintenance services for their products.

Solution

Comprehensive product management with Shopify

Crasman implemented a comprehensive B2B online store solution for Frestems based on the Shopify platform and updated the company's visual identity. The structure of the online store is modular and entirely manageable by Frestems. Thus, Frestems can independently control the positioning, quantity, and content displayed in the store. In the user interface of the online store, the ability to order products is available only to selected customers. Therefore, a buyer interested in the products must first complete a company information form, after which Frestems validates the company and grants order rights to its online store. Logging in enables the presentation of different pricing levels for different customer groups as necessary. Through the B2B sales channel, Frestems employees can easily create orders for registered customers, for example, during trade fairs. The ordering of product maintenance services is also behind the login. At the time of purchase, the customer receives information on where and how the product should be delivered for maintenance. The challenge of identifying the end customer and the start date of the warranty period was solved through product registration. Each product must be registered in Frestems' online store. During registration, the product's serial number and other mandatory and necessary company information must be provided.
