The board of Crasman has appointed Samuli Hokkanen as the new CEO of the company effective from 1 January 2022, transitioning from his previous role as the Chief Strategy Officer. The former CEO, Pasi Kervinen, will continue as the chairman of the board. 

"I have had the privilege of being part of Crasman's entire 25-year journey, most of it as the CEO. I feel that now is the right time to move forward and bring fresh perspectives and ideas into leadership, which Samuli undoubtedly represents. I will continue as the chairman of the board and work closely with Samuli and the management team in the future as well,” explains chairman of the board, Pasi Kervinen.

"I first joined Crasman in 2004 as a software developer. Since then, my interests have led me to a sales role in my career, and later into building new business and engaging in strategic consultancy work. I have had the opportunity to return to Crasman from my professional journeys several times - the company has valued the experience and insights gained from elsewhere," comments Samuli Hokkanen.

"Ultimately, it was the straightforward culture of Crasman that drew me back from an international consultancy firm. In Finnish working life, there is much discussion nowadays about passion and shaping company culture. Both have their place, but I firmly believe that a successful outcome and a functional company culture are achieved by taking good care of people. As the next chapter of Crasman's story begins, I believe that alongside the growth of new business, my main role as CEO is to support Crasman's excellent pool of talent and unique culture of creative geeks. I hope that my background in development and long journey to becoming CEO will help me stay grounded," concludes Hokkanen.
