New employees are often introduced in company blogs, but it's rare for someone who's resigned to get a say.
How should one start such a post?
Hello! I'm Arttu, and I won't be working at Crasman much longer.
Hello! I'm Arttu, and I'm working as a content specialist at Crasman for just over a month more (most of which I will be on holiday).
Hello! I'm Arttu, and I would like to share why working at Crasman is incredibly enjoyable (even if I won't be working here much longer)!
When I informed my manager Samuli of my resignation at the end of July, he immediately gave me the perhaps unexpectedly amusing task of writing an outgoing employee introduction. This was fine by me, as I simply have nothing negative to say about Crasman.
On the contrary: I've been able to enjoy flexibility, trust, meaningfully challenging tasks, and an inspiring atmosphere at Crasman, where nothing has seemed impossible. I've been able to tailor my role to my skills and learned a great deal in the process. Employee wellbeing and satisfaction are commendably looked after, and there's nothing artificial in the vibe.
Crasman's comprehensive approach to building digital services yields incredible results and earns praise from clients. I've had a front-row seat to industries and development directions that would certainly have been missed elsewhere.
So, in summary: Crasman is an exceptionally pleasant and straightforward work community, where it's nice to create Finland's best digital services.
So why am I leaving?
Simply because I was offered even more enticing tasks elsewhere. It weighed heavily that my new employer is a significant cultural entity, which, for someone like me who loves culture, fulfills a professional dream.
Samuli expressed being happy for me as a person but professionally disappointed. My own feelings are the opposite: professionally, I'm excited about my new job, while personally, I'm sad to leave a community that's become close and where I've felt a true sense of belonging.
Therefore, I can only sincerely recommend working at Crasman to anyone who is passionate about working with high-quality web services and digital marketing – and above all, proudly identifies as a creative nerd.
