With Heart – Empathy is here to stay in the workplace

I am the sum of the events of my own life, you are the sum of the events of your own life. Our feelings do not reset when the key card beeps; we are one and the same whole at home and in the office. 


The work of a leader and manager is a service profession. It requires the ability to enable, possess emotional intelligence, and build a self-directed organisation – creating an environment for company experts to thrive and perform well.

With Heart

Safety is one of the most important indicators of well-being, both in working life and life in general. It stems from being accepted as you are and being valued for your contribution. From being able to share your ideas without fear of embarrassment or outright rejection. And from presenting criticism and suggestions for improvement constructively in private.

When someone feels like a meaningful part of the work community, doing important work, that famous enthusiasm for work arises, benefiting the employee, employer, and customer. The maximum potential is utilised: knowledge, skills, motivation, and endurance.

Empathy and Appreciation from Person to Person

Work life? Or should we just say life? The line blurs as the amount of brainwork increases. Is there any sense in even separating work and other life when measuring well-being?

Sometimes things go brilliantly, sometimes awry. Life's twists do not disappear with the beep of a key card; rather, a person is one and the same whole at home and in the office. You cannot always, nor need to, perform at a superhuman level.  

At Crasman, we want to regard each colleague as an individual with their unique human characteristics and life stages. We aim to provide an empathetic environment in which it is possible to be happy or become so. Because, after all, satisfied people tend to spread good vibes around them.

We want to foster this circle of positivity so that we are more engaged in the everyday lives of our colleagues and customers with ever-improving enthusiasm, with all our heart.
