Veli-Pekka Anteroinen works as a service developer at Crasman in Tampere. He doesn't see service development so much as programming but rather, as the comprehensive development of services.

“We are moving continuously from static websites towards more services. A growing portion of our daily affairs is managed online through various services. Our clients wish to develop their services so they are easy and effortless for end-users. My job is to propose solutions, develop services, and implement them in practice,” explains Anteroinen.

“New services are constantly being created, but it is also important to continuously develop them. All services and websites are evolutionary. If they don't evolve, they wither away and disappear. What is remarkable at Crasman is how services are significantly improved here. It's fantastic to work on something that assists the customer. Whether it's increasing their sales or turnover, the feeling of achievement is amazing. Or when we realize a tool genuinely simplifies the customer's daily life. When we manage to significantly reduce the customer's workload, it feels like we've done something meaningful,” Anteroinen shares.
